The Association of Illustrators: An organisation dedicated to promoting illustration, advancing and protecting illustrators’ rights and encouraging professional standards. www.theaoi.com

Society of Artists Agents: The Society’s member agents represent some of the best available talent in the UK. Its aims are to promote the use of illustration and to unify and improve the working practices between illustrators, agents and clients. www.illustratorsagents.co.uk

Greeting Card Association (UK): The UK’s trade association devoted to protecting and promoting the greeting card industry and representing the interests of greeting card publishers. www.greetingcardassociation.org.uk

The Greeting Card Association (USA): “Celebrating, promoting and protecting the tradition and cultural values of exchanging greeting cards”, the Association represents greeting card and stationery publishers, and allied members of the industry. The Royal Academy of Arts: The world-renowned independent fine arts institution which supports contemporary artists and promotes interest in the arts. Canadian Association of Photographers & Illustrators (CAPIC): A national, not-for-profit association dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the rights and interests of photographers, illustrators and recently, digital artists, working in the communications industry. www.capic.org

Design and Artists Copyright Society (DACS): Promoting and protecting the copyright and related rights of artists and visual creators in the UK and worldwide, DACS offers licensing services for consumers and collections schemes on behalf of visual creators. www.dacs.org.uk
